sometimes when you go on design interviews they'll ask you questions like, who is your favorite designer, whose work are you most inspired by, whose work do you model your own after? to be honest there is not just one for me. however, i just saw the Celine 2010 resort collection and just thought "damn." Phoebe Philo you do it for me. Her sense of feminity + insane tailoring is just down right beautiful not to mention her pretty color/fabric choices. love. love. love. all images from style.com

so i was perusing the 2010 resort collections on style.com and discovered this purty lady Yulia Kharlaponova. This image is from Rag & Bone, and honestly I think she looks pretty amazing. She looks a lot more classic beauty in the other collections she was in, but here she has that sultry sexiness going on. Will be interesting to watch her.
it's a shoe thang.
so i was perusing theselby yesterday and was kind of amazed by lara rule's shoe collection. not to mention their dope cars. one of my favorite things about seeing into the private lives of neat creative peoples is the mix of really high end items and then they have like a scuffed up supreme deck on the wall. not that supreme isn't up there in the creative world. just seeing what has special value in people's lives is cool. check out their whole apartment here.

today i was thinking how it'd be neat to make a chronological soundtrack to different periods in your life. this would fit into the march 08 time frame for me.
